Transphobic laws and rhetoric also hurt intersex folks

As someone who is both trans and intersex, I beg more perisex people to notice how transphobic laws harm us, too. Some state laws engage in active erasure of us by declaring that the only two biological sexes are male and female. Other guidelines, such as in the Olympics, punish intersex athletes by having cut-off points for participation depending upon hormone levels. Transphobia and intersexism are deeply intertwined.
